Please read these terms carefully before scheduling or accepting any service from Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern any service call, estimate, repair, diagnostic, or other work ("Services") performed by Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC ("Cannon Mobile Mechanic," "we," "us," or "our") for any individual or entity ("Customer," "you," or "your"). By requesting a service call, scheduling an appointment (including through our online booking calendar), accepting a verbal or written estimate, or otherwise authorizing us to perform work on your vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not request or accept Services from Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC.
Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC is a mobile automotive repair business based in Riddleton, Tennessee, providing on-site diagnostic and repair services generally within approximately fifty (50) miles of our home base at 114 Cannon Cir, Riddleton, TN 37151. Services include, but are not limited to, engine repair and diagnostics, transmission service, electrical repair and module/ECU programming, suspension and steering repair, classic and antique vehicle mechanical service, and roadside repair. A full listing is available on our Services page and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Service calls beyond our standard radius may be accepted at our discretion and may be subject to an additional travel charge, which will be disclosed to you before dispatch.
Appointments may be requested by phone, email, or through our online scheduling calendar. Scheduling a time slot online or by phone constitutes a request for service; it does not guarantee parts availability, technician arrival at an exact minute, or that a given repair can be completed in a single visit. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the confirmed service window and will contact you if we anticipate a delay.
Our standard hours of operation are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. Requests outside these hours may be accommodated at our sole discretion and may be subject to an after-hours rate.
Before performing any repair beyond an initial diagnostic inspection, we will provide you with a verbal or written estimate describing the recommended work and the associated cost. Work will not begin until you affirmatively authorize the estimate, whether verbally, in writing, electronically, or by other clear affirmative action (such as telling the technician to proceed).
Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Actual costs may change if additional problems are discovered once a repair is underway (for example, a fastener that shears, a component that fails during removal, or damage that was not visible during the initial inspection). We will notify you of any material change in scope or cost and obtain your authorization before proceeding with additional work.
We ask that you provide at least two (2) hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a dispatch fee for future appointments or a requirement to prepay before scheduling.
If our technician arrives at the agreed location and is unable to access the vehicle, perform the inspection, or receive authorization to proceed due to circumstances within the Customer's control, a trip/diagnostic fee may still apply.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the Services unless other arrangements have been made in writing in advance. We accept the payment methods disclosed to you at the time of service. A diagnostic or trip fee may apply and will be disclosed before dispatch; this fee compensates for travel time and initial inspection and may or may not be credited toward a subsequently authorized repair, as communicated at the time.
Unpaid invoices may accrue late charges and may be referred to collections or pursued through applicable legal remedies, including a mechanic's lien where permitted under Tennessee law.
Unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of service, Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC warrants its labor on a given repair for ninety (90) days from the date of service, and passes through any manufacturer warranty on new parts installed, subject to that manufacturer's terms. This warranty covers defects in the specific labor performed and does not extend to:
Warranty claims must be reported promptly and are subject to inspection by Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC before any repair, replacement, or refund is issued.
Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC does not perform air conditioning diagnostics, refrigerant recovery, refrigerant recharge, or related A/C system repair, as we do not currently carry the required recovery/recharge equipment. Any reference to "all vehicle types" or "full-service" on our website refers to the categories of service actually listed on our Services page and does not imply A/C service or any service not expressly listed.
To allow us to perform Services safely and effectively, you agree to:
As a mobile service, we depend on reasonably level, stable, and legally accessible ground to safely perform repairs, including the use of jacks, jack stands, and ramps. We reserve the right to decline or postpone a repair at a given location if, in our technician's judgment, the site is unsafe (including but not limited to inadequate lighting, unstable surfaces, extreme weather, or lack of legal right to be on the property). We are not responsible for delays caused by unsafe or inaccessible site conditions, and a trip fee may still apply.
To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the specific Services giving rise to the claim. Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost income, lost use of a vehicle, towing costs unrelated to our work, or rental vehicle expenses, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
We use new, remanufactured, or OE-spec parts as appropriate for the repair and as discussed in your estimate. Certain components (e.g., alternators, starters, some drivetrain parts) may carry a refundable core charge, which is returned upon receipt of the old part in acceptable condition. Customer-supplied parts are installed at the customer's request and risk; we are not responsible for the quality, fit, or performance of parts we did not source, though our labor warranty in Section 7 still applies to the installation itself.
Vehicles of an older design, including but not limited to carbureted engines and points-type ignition systems, may involve parts that are obsolete, hard to source, previously modified, or inherently more fragile due to age. We will advise you if a part is discontinued, requires a specialty vendor, or if disassembly reveals wear consistent with the vehicle's age that could not reasonably have been detected beforehand. Additional time and cost for sourcing rare parts will be disclosed and requires your authorization before proceeding.
Diagnostic work — including OBD-II scanning, module-level diagnostics, and physical inspection — takes technician time and specialized equipment regardless of the eventual repair decision. A diagnostic fee may apply and will be disclosed to you before the visit or at the start of the visit. If you authorize the recommended repair, we may apply some or all of the diagnostic fee toward the total invoice, as communicated at the time.
We take reasonable care while working on your vehicle, but we are not responsible for pre-existing cosmetic issues, mechanical conditions unrelated to the authorized repair, or personal items left inside the vehicle that were not disclosed to the technician prior to service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Smith County, Tennessee, or another Tennessee venue mutually agreed upon by the parties. Before filing a claim, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute directly.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC, its owner, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your provision of inaccurate information about the vehicle or your authority over it, or your failure to disclose a known hazardous site condition.
Cannon Mobile Mechanic LLC is not responsible for delays or failure to perform Services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, road closures, part manufacturer delays, or other events of force majeure.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
